The two schools operated on the same property until 1909, when the Brothers purchased 10 acres a mile and a half from the city. That same year they opened St. Joseph’s College at the new location. Brothers continued to teach at the Institute until 1916. See the entries for Muskogee, Nazareth Institute, and Muskogee, St. Joseph College for more information.
